News
A great day for Loughtons under 10s last Sunday. They clinched the league title with a 3-0 win at Cobra Red to complete a sixteen game unbeaten run, fifteen wins and one draw after losing three of their first four games. It wasn't a good day for our under 13s, whose 2-1 defeat may have cost them the League. Loughton now have to win their last game this Sunday and hope that rivals Millwall either lose or draw their last match. The club's under 12s also require a win this Sunday to secure second place in the League, having already achieved being Cup runners up. Our under 15 Blacks will be champions if they win their final game, but they will have to wait, as it is not until after Easter. Our under 9s have also been successful, finishing runners up in their first season.

Robert Obeney, who played for Loughton Boys in the late 1960's was a surprise visitor to the clubs soccer school Saturday morning. Rob who now lives in Hampshire, remarked how nice it was to see each player had a football with the emphasis on practising ball skills.

New to this season!
This season there are other changes. The FA will not permit clubs with more than one team in an age group to refer to them as 'A' or 'B'.
A suffix must be added instead like 'Lions' or 'Tigers' or a bird or a colour. This applies to us as we have two under 15 teams, one we have called Loughton Blacks the other Loughton Reds.

Nine-a-Side football is a new feature for under 11s. At present it is optional whether you play in an eleven-a-side or a nine-a-side league, but for season 2013-14, under 11s and 12s will only be permitted to play nine-a-side football.

This season our under 11s are playing nine-a-side, whilst our under 12s are playing eleven-a-side.

Reception Group
New this season is a reception group that Loughton FC is running. This is held Saturday mornings, 10.30-11.30, at the club ground. Children aged fron five to nine years are invited for soccer coaching and games.

Players interested in playing for the club, may obtain further information by emailing, webmaster@loughtonfc.com

Drinks & Snacks@ The Pavillion
The club extends a welcome to visitors as well as Loughton supporters to the club pavilion. Open on match days for hot & cold drinks and some snacks, also shelter if the weather gets too much for you. Proceeds from the refreshment bar go to the club and your support for this facility would be much appreciated.
Former Players?
Former player Roy Prevost, who played for the club in the late nineteen sixties, has been in touch from Australia, where he now lives.

He would like to hear from any of his old team mates, with a view to possibly organising a reunion. Roy visits England several times a year to see West Ham play. But don't let that put you off, if you are a former team mate of Roys, please get in touch by emailing us at webmaster@loughtonfc.com
